Holotype: MNHN -IU-2013-13559, ♀, 3 September 1997.
Type locality: French Polynesia. Marquesas Islands. MUSORSTOM 9, Stn CP1264, 9°21.3’S, 140°07.7’W, 53–57 m.
Etymology: Autahi, is the South Star or mother of the Moon and stars which guided Polynesian navigators.
