Holotype: FAKU-CP 504. Paratypes (4): FAKU-CP 309, 311, 505, 508.

Type locality: South Pacific, off southern Chile, 42°57'S, 75°07'W, 315–340 m depth.

Etymology: The specific name chilensis refers to the locality of the type specimens.
