Type locality: Mount Wellington, Tasmania, Australia, near ‘The Springs’, from moss, 2000 ft.
Syntypes: AM. male ♂ and female ♀. 19.XII.1944 (♂) and 25.VIII.1943 (♀). AMS KS6692.
