- Type locality: Ocala Group, Williston Limestone; abandoned limerock quarry about 0.5 mile north of Florida Highway 26, and approximately 3.3 miles west of the United States Interstate Highway 75 overpass, NW1/4, sect. 35, T9S, R18E, Alachua County, Florida
- Typus: Holotype rostrum AMNH 28462
- Distribution: Known only from type locality and unique specimen
