Name[edit]

Holotype: RMNH 17374, adult ♀, skin and skull (rostrum and mandible).

Type locality: “parties intérieures du Brésil [=Brazil]”, restricted to “Votuporanga, S˜ão Paulo, Brazil” by Eger (2008: 404).
