      • Holotype locality: from pass between Indian Island (58º22'15"N, 134º42'00"W) and Coghlan Island (58º20'15"N, 134º42'00"W).
      • Holotype; fig. 2: N.I. Calvin and R.J. Ellis; 6 October 1978; at a depth of about 6 m. UBC A65915. Isotypes: (cystocarpic and tetrasporic) UBC, UC, MICH, US, the National Marine Fisheries Service, Auke Bay Laboratory, Alaska, SAPS.
