Name

Dendrophorbium scaphiforme (Greenm.) C.Jeffrey, 1992

• Type locality: "Popayán" (presumably the city in Cauca Dept.), Colombia
  • Not "Popoyán", as given by Jeffrey (1992:68)
• Holotype: Lehmann #B.T. 493 (K; isotype NY)
  • Jeffrey (1992:68) refers to these as syntypes, even though Greenman (1938; Ann. Mo. Bot. Gard. 25:818) clearly designates the K specimen as the type.
