Name

Cytheropteron laptevense Stepanova in Stepanova, Taldenkova & Bauch, 2004

• Type locality: Found at a depth of 129 cm in Holocene sediments of core PS51-154, (77°16’61"N, 120°36’03"E), western Laptev Sea, Arctic Ocean.
• Remarks: Cytheropteron laptevensis was corrected to Cytheropteron laptevense by Kempf, 2008 according to the gender of the genus name. Holotype and paratypes are stored at the Geological Department, Moscow State University.
