Cytheropteron brastadense Lord, 1981

  • UTIN (Universal Taxonomic Identification Number) Ostracoda: G2804 24536
  • Type locality: Brastad Borehole, (58º22'50"N, 11º33'01"E), NE of Lysekil, SW Sweden.
  • Type horizon: Sample depth 6.50-6.55 metres, Late Weichselian, Pleistocene, Quaternary, Cenozoic. (Extinct ?)
  • Remarks: Cytheropteron brastadensis was corrected to Cytheropteron brastadense by Kempf, 1986 according to the gender of the genus name. Holotype and paratypes are deposited at the British Museum (Natural History), London, Nos. OS 7685 - OS 7687.
