- Symbiont: Commensal epibiont on marine turtles (Caretta caretta or Chelonia mydas type host)
- Type locality: embedded in turtle skin, locality unknown, probably Caribbean
- Typus: holotype ANSP 2057, apparently lost
- Distribution: Western Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea; reports from other ocean basins are misidentifications
