• Typus: E. Vieillard 2405 (in fruit, 1861–1867; K [​K000701620^(JSTOR)], P {P00639139^(JSTOR), P05256558}; Isotypus: M-0225251^(JSTOR)).
  • Note: Adema regards P00639139 as holotype while Radlkofer only cited the specimen deposited in K.
• Type locality: Novo-Caledonia [= NEW CALEDONIA]. Ile Lifou [= Lifou Island].
