Name[edit]

Holotype: MNHN Na12865, ♀; 10 May 1992.
Type locality: Futuna Island, MUSORSTOM 7, N.O. Alis, stn CP498, 14°19’S 178°03’E, 105–160 m.
Etymology: From uncinus (Latin), a hook, a reference to the curved fourth thoracic sternal process.
