Ctenopoma pellegrini (Boulenger, 1902)

Syntypes: BMNH 1901.12.26.54 (1), MRAC 1276 (1).

Type locality: Yembe River at Banzyville, Democratic Republic of Congo.

Etymology: in honor of French ichthyologist Jacques Pellegrin.
