• Typus: H. Wawra von Fernsee 2100 ([1868]; holotypus: W 0054029; isotypus: W 0053298).
  • Note: these types were typified by P. Escobar García of W in September 2014.
• Type locality: [United States of America.] Die Hawai'sche Inseln[Hawaiian Islands], Kauai: Gebiet von Halemanu.
