Copella vilmae Géry, 1963

  • Holotype: SMF 5931.
  • Paratypes: SMF 5967-78 (12); SU (not found); USNM 198135 (4).

Type locality: Igarapé Préto, along upper Amazon, near Belem, about 60 kilometers below Leticia, Peru-Colombia border.

Etymology: The species is named after the wife of the ethnographer and tropical-fish collector Harald Schultz (1909–1966), Vilma Schultz (see: ETYFish Project).
