- Holotype: BNHS 2456, adult ♂, collected by Amit Sayyed and Abhiiit Naleon on 15 November 2015.
- Type locality: “on a tree trunk beside a dry stream surrounded by dense forest, at Mahabaleshwar (17.545N, 73.403E; 1,377 m asl), Satara district, Maharashtra, India”.
