Chroodiscus khaosokensis Papong & Lücking, 2009   (sp. nov. MB511146)


Type locality: THAILAND. Surat Thani Province: Khao Sok National Park, 8o55'N, 98o31'E, 70 m, tropical rain forest, 14 Feb 2006, Papong 5331 (KKU, holotype). Paratypes: Same locality and date, Papong 1475 (RAMK), 4844 (F). Nakorn Phanom Province: Phu Lung Ka National Park, Tad Pho waterfall, evergreen dry forest, 17 Dec 2005, Papong 1475 (KKU).

Ecology and distribution: On living leaves of vascular plants in lowland to submontane rain forest; thus far known from Thailand only.

Etymology: Named after the type locality.
