Caristius digitus Stevenson & Kenaley, 2013

  • Holotype: AMS I.20316-038.
  • Paratype: IORAS 02787.

Type locality: SW Pacific, off Australia, 34°20'S, 151°56'E [1].

Etymology: From the Latin word digitus, meaning finger, for the fingerlike papillae on the dorsal surface of the hyoid.
