Name
[edit]Type species: Notaspis segnis Hermann, 1804, by monotypy.
Gender: feminine [?] (Note: Originally the gender is undefined. Not clarified by type species segnis which is a two declension adjective formed in either masculine or feminine. However, arguably the genus corresponds directly to a feminine noun in latin as camisia translating as "nightgown/shirt", therefore per ICZN 30.1.1 takes the gender of that word).
