Name

• Callechelys kuro (Kuroda, 1947)

Neotype: BSKU 81516. Holotype apparently lost; neotype selected by McCosker et al. (2011).

Type locality (orig.): Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Suruga Bay, Japan. Neotype locality: Japan: Tosa Bay, between 33°28.04'N, 133°32.12'E and 33°27.74'N, 133°31.41'E, depth 16-18 meters.
