Bryconamericus pinnavittatus Dagosta & Netto-Ferreira, 2015

Type locality: Pará State, Jacareacanga Municipality, stream affluent of the right margin of the rio Teles Pires, downstream of Sete Quedas, 9°18'52"S, 56°46'54"W, Brazil.

Etymology: pinna, fin; vittata, banded or adorned with a ribbon, referring to pigmented vertical band at base of caudal-fin rays. The ETYfish project
