Bryaninops earlei Suzuki & Randall, 2014

  • Holotype: BPBM 36972.
  • Paratypes: BPBM 36954 (0, 1); NSMT-P 114576 (1, 2, 1); USNM 410094 (1 (c&s), 2).

Type locality: Papua New Guinea, D’Entrecasteaux Islands, Normanby Island, Bunama, 10°8’36"N, 151°9’18"E(?) (more likely: -> [1]), on sea pen in sea grass bed, 4-5 m depth.

Etymology: The specifies is named for John L. Earle, who first discovered it and collected specimens with the second author.
