  • Typus: M. Louvel 125 (November 1925; holotypus: P00166993(JSTOR)).
  • Type locality: Madagascar. Domaine oriental[Toamasina province], Analamazoatra.

Notes[edit]

This name had been once placed under Breonia citrifolia (Poir.) Ridsdale, Blumea 22(3): 545 (1975) [= Breonia chinensis (Lam.) Capuron], but was reinstated by Razafimandimbison (2002: 22).
