  • Type locality: Brazil, Bahia, Camaçari, Jauá Beach, (12°49'55.44"S, 38°13'39.97"W).
  • Holotype: leg. E.M.S. Pestana and C.C. Santos; 2017-05-27; growing on rocks in areas protected from wave exposure in the reef region, emergent during low tidal periods; ALCB; 132723.
