Enteromius kerstenii (Peters, 1868)

Lectotype: ZMB 6818 [or 6848]. Lectotype designated by Greenwood 1982. Paralectotypes: ZMB 32378 [ex 6848] (2).

Type locality: On the route between the coast opposite Zanzibar and Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, East Africa.

Etymology: in honor of Otto Kersten (1839–1900), botanist and early explorer of Mt. Kilimanjaro, who sent a small collection of fishes to Peters, including type of this one. (From The ETYFish project)
