Barbucca elongata Vasil'eva & Vasil'ev, 2013

  • Holotype: ZMMU P-22992.
  • Paratypes (3): ZMMU P-22993.

Type locality: Vietnam, Gulf of Thailand, Phu Quoc Island, stream in the Cua Can River basin, 10°19.432′N, 104°02.107′E [1].

Etymology: The specific epithet is the Latin word elongata (= elongated), in reference to the body shape, which is different to the body shape of the type species of the genus Barbucca, B. diabolica.
