  • Holotype: USNM No: 1251801, ♀.
  • Type locality: USA: The Lakeside littoral zone; 38°57'42"N, 119°57'14"W, 5 m water depth, of Lake Tahoe in California-Nevada.
  • Etymology: The species name refers to the type locality, Lake Tahoe.
