Atopochilus pachychilus Pellegrin, 1924

  • Syntypes: MNHN 1924-0213 (1); MRAC 14920 (1).

Type locality: Kanda Kanda, Lubilonji [1], Democratic Republic of Congo.

Etymology: The specific name is a combination of the Greek pachys (= thick) and cheilos (= lip), referring to the thick lips of the species.
