Host-Substratum/Locality: On bark of Fagus: UK (type locality); also, widespread in eastern North America (Hodkinson et al. 2009, Hodkinson 2010, Lendemer et al. 2009) (treated as A. "dryadum" by Harris & Ladd (2005)).
