- Typus: Canary Islands, Tenerife: Anaga peninsula, south coast: Barranco de Valle Crispin, near Valle Crispin, N of San Andres. Altitude 180 m. 23.2.1978. Borgen 2545 (Holotype: O, isotype: BM).
Note:
[edit]A diploid, fully fertile and genetically stabilized species originated as a hybrid of A. broussonetii and the coastal A. frutescens (Brochmann & al. 2000).
