Holotype: coll. I. Agnarsson, ♂.
Type locality: PAPUA NEW GUINEA:National Capital District, Baruni Village, just west of Port Moresby, 9°25´38´´S 147°07´59´´E, trees on beach, 0 m elevation, 17.iv.2009.
Etymology: The species epithet, a noun in apposition, is named after the Papua New Guinea capital Port Moresby, on the outskirts of which it was collected, following the spelling of Tok Pisin, an official creole language of Papua New Guinea: Pot Mosbi.
