- Holotype: MVZ 23623, adult ♀, collected by J.L. Gressitt on 5 August 1936
- Type locality: “Tai-yong, alt. 640 meters, E. Kwantung province, southeastern China (lat. 23°34' N., long. 115°55’ E)”, now Dayang, Jiexi County, Guangdong Province, China.
