Name[edit]
- Holotype: CORBIDI 1870, adult male.
- Type locality: Bellavista, Province of Jaén, Region of Cajamarca, Peru.
- Etymology: The specific epithet is an agglutination of the exclamation “no dam”. The authors chose this peculiar name to protest against the possible dam construction activities for four hydroelectricity projects along the Marañón river, between the Regions of Cajamarca and Amazonas.
