  • Holotype: SMF 57447, collected by I. Eibl-Eibesfeldt in 1957.
  • Type locality: “Crab-point, S of James Bay (Isla Santiago)”.

Native distribution areas[edit]

  • Ecuador: Galápagos Province: Santiago (including Bartolomé, Rocas Bainbridge, Sombrero Chino and Beagle), Rábida and Pinzón.
