  • Holotype: SMF 57430, collected by I. Eibl-Eibesfeldt in 1957.
  • Type locality: “etwa 3 km südwestlich der Wrack-Bucht der Insel Chatham, Galápagos Inseln [= about 3 km SW to Wreck Bay in Isla San Cristóbal (vicinity of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno)]”.
