Type locality: "San Pedro, Cosñipata, Paucartambo, Departamento de Cuzco, Peru, GPS coordinates 13° 03´ S, 71° 32´ W, 1480 m . . . from atop a rock beside a stream".

Holotype: MHNSM 17741.
