Adiantopsis rupicola Maxon, Contr. U.S. Natl. Herb. 10: 485 (1908).

• Typus: Cuba. Pinar del Rio, collected in mtns. near El Guama, crevices of partially shaded cliffs, limestone, rare, W. Palmer 242 & J.H. Riley (Holotype: US; isotypes: K, MO, US).
