Holotype: ZMUC CRU-6493 - female
Type-locality: Gulf of Panama; 5°49’N 78°52’W. Habitat: marine benthic, 3270-3670 m depth

Distribution

E Pacific (Gulf of Panama), S Atlantic (Angola Basin, Walvis Ridge) and Antarctic (NW Weddell Sea) (Wolff, 1962, Schmid, Brenke & Wägele, 2002b, Malyutina & Brandt, 2004).

Habitat

Deep-sea marine benthic species, found at depths of 3270-5585 m (Wolff, 1962, Schmid, Brenke & Wägele, 2002b, Malyutina & Brandt, 2004).
