  • Type locality: "Valley below Glacier Martial, 15 km NNW of Ushuaia" (54°47'S, 68°23'W, 500m), Tierra del Fuego, Argentina
  • Holotype: Swenson & Martinsson 319 (UPS; isotypes BAB, HIP, K, L, S)
