Rhinocheilus lecontei Baird & Girard, 1853: 120

  • Holotype: MCZ 137, adult ♂, collected by J.L. LeConte between 1849–1852.
  • Type locality: “San Diego, Cal. [=California]”.
  • Etymology: Named after John Lawrence LeConte.
