William Barnes (30.IX.1860 - 1.V.1930), U.S. entomologist (Lepidoptera).

Barnes collection is in United States National Museum USNM. The collection is about 1,000,000 butterflies and moths. The U.S. Department of Agriculture bought it for $50,000.
