Name[edit]

  • Varanus griseus caspius (Eichwald, 1831)

Holotype: EMKSU fide De Lisle (2009: 18), but storage location remains unknown fide Doronin et al. (2017: 79).

Type locality: “peninsula Dardsha”, southeastern coast of Capsian Sea, Turkmenistan.
