Hi,
We don't have much disputes because we'll very much incomplete in terms of species. Normally we wait until the general scientific community agrees with the change (and that could take years)
As for vernacular names, we have to type them out. We used to have a few bots around but some of them are not functioning properly because we have a very strict formatting rule (unlike Wikipedia).
