Welcome to Wikispecies!

Hello, and welcome to Wikispecies! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

If you have named a taxon, then it is likely that there is (or will be) a Wikispecies page about you, and other pages about your published papers. Please see our advice and guidance for taxon authors.

If you have useful images to contribute to Wikispecies, please upload them at Wikimedia Commons. This is also true for video or audio files containing bird songs, whale vocalization, etc.

Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username (if you're logged in) and the date. Please also read the Wikispecies policy What Wikispecies is not. If you need help, ask me on my talk page, or in the Village Pump. Again, welcome!

Well, I assume you are the real Sam W. Heads =) OhanaUnitedTalk page 19:46, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Also, I have created the redirect page for "Heads" to your entry. In addition, please do not include diagnostics as we tend to avoid any original research material. OhanaUnitedTalk page 19:49, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
If you do really want to, you can create in the talk page (Talk:Phoebolampta caeruleotergum). I won't stop you from that. For us, quite unlike Wikipedia, the talk page is more like a scrapbook than a talk/discussion page. OhanaUnitedTalk page 20:07, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Eoproscopia and Eoproscopia martilli

[edit]

I made some minor changes with regards to the extinct symbol (†) and the formatting under "Name" section. For the symbol, it is implied that if the whole order/family/genus gone extinct, all the child listed in the taxonavigation section does not need the extinct symbol. An example would be a dinosaur species (like Tyrannosaurus). You won't see the symbol scattered across the entire section because it looks repetitive. And in the "Name" section, we don't need to bold the genus/species name. OhanaUnitedTalk page 12:23, 12 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
