Holotype (unique): NMV A29734-002.

Type locality: Timor Sea, off northwestern Australia, ca. 78 km south of Cartier Island, Kulumburu L29 transect, 13°13'29"S, 123°23'44"E to 13°13'20"S, 123°23'17"E, southeastern Indian Ocean, depth 392 meters. [1]
