@RLJ: correct name is "Laubenfels, 1972". IPNI systematically strangely uses/misuses name particles, like "de", "van", "von"--Estopedist1 (talk) 17:12, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a look into the book cited here, this American author calls himself permanently "de Laubenfels" I think there are good reasons to let the name as it is. -RLJ (talk) 18:46, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@RLJ: thanks for commenting. The biggest problem with these "de", "von", "van", "le" etc is, that because of "random" usage in reference templates, we create massively duplicate entries, a la "De Toulgoët, 1958" and "Toulgoët, 1958"--Estopedist1 (talk) 06:10, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
