Usage:
- Use this template to refer to a taxon on the World Wide Wattle (WWW) web site by providing the "Id:".
Example:
{{WorldWideWattle|17861|Acacia longifolia}}
Results:
- Acacia longifolia – Taxon details on World Wide Wattle.
Syntax:
{{WorldWideWattle|id|optional: name|optional: name2}}
Parameters:
- id - Id of taxon on the WWW web site. If left blank, the template renders an error message.
- name - The taxon name when that name differs from the page title (i.e. when it is disambiguated). This parameter is always and automatically rendered italicized, so it is not necessary to manually italicize the taxon name. Leave blank for unitalicized names (i.e. higher order taxon), and use name2 instead. This parameter should also be used (in conjunction with name2) to provide the Taxon name stripped of unrecognised characters such as a x symbol, or wiki formatting, where those are present in the name on Wikispecies.
- name2 - Use instead if name where the taxon, or parts of the taxon, should not be italicized (e.g. for a subspecific taxon). Example:
{{WorldWideWattle|-3918||Vachellia tortilis subsp. raddiana}}(note that "name" is left blank).
