Usage[edit]
This template is primarily used on Wikispecies' guideline- and policy pages to show the shortest alias of a given page. For example, WS:A redirects to Wikispecies:About. The point of this template is not to list every single redirect to a specific page. (That's a task for the Special:Whatlinkshere feature which was designed specifically for that purpose.) Instead it should list only one or two common and easily-remembered redirects for any given page.
Don't use this template on other templates, e.g. to state that the shortcut to Template:VN is in fact {{VN}}. There's no need to state the obvious like that, since by default every template uses its own name as a shortcut.
