    • Biostatus: presumed adventive, but of unknown provenance, and speculated by Johnson (1975, 1977, 1982) to be of New Zealand origin, but there are no actual records from N.Z.

Habitat[edit]

  • 'Under fairly tight and moist bark of most dead trees' - Johnson (1975: 213)

Taxonomic notes[edit]

  • according to Johnson (1982: 368), this species is separable from P. watti purely on the basis of a purported (and unspecified) difference in the form of the spermatheca, and in being parthenogenetic
