This species was identified by the common name Leidy's Comb Jelly and is on exhibit at the Baltimore Aquarium. It is common in Baltimore harbor and the Chesapeake Bay, as well as many other places around the world. It is nevertheless a fascinating creature with its luminescent cilia.
